Its important to trim your cats nails to prevent them breaking which can cause a lot of pain for your cat. It can also help prevent you from getting scratched by sharp tips and prevent your cats ability to scratch the furniture.

What items do you need for trimming your cats nails?
- Nail clippers
- Cat treats

Cutting cat claws
- Help them get used to seeing the nail clippers, and having their feet touched before you start clipping.
- Gently take their paw and squeeze on the end of their nail. You will see their claw come out. There is a blood vessel at the end of the claw, so just be careful not to cut in to there.
- To start with, just cut the tips of the nails off and gradually build your confidence up. If the cat isn't used to having their claws clipped, you should start slowly.
